Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a UPS Order Processor, you manage inbound shipment order intake and exception resolution at a dedicated workstation inside our fulfillment center — entering, verifying, and correcting digital order records in the UPS warehouse management system to ensure every inbound package is correctly routed before it reaches the sort conveyor induction point.

• Order Record Entry & Verification: Process inbound shipment records from the UPS shipper portal into the warehouse management system — verifying recipient address format compliance against USPS address validation standards, confirming declared package weight against the manifest, and flagging any shipper account discrepancies for billing exception resolution before the package enters active sort status.
• Address Exception Resolution: Investigate flagged address exceptions — ambiguous street numbers, missing apartment identifiers, unverifiable rural route codes, and international destination format errors — using USPS CASS certification tools and UPS's internal address database to resolve each exception to a deliverable address or escalate to the shipper contact queue for correction.
• Volume Reporting & Documentation: Generate end-of-shift order processing volume reports from the warehouse management system, recording total orders processed, exception counts by category, and resolution rates against the facility's daily target — submitting the completed report to the operations supervisor within 15 minutes of shift end without exception.
